Knowing that you and your spouse are going to become parents is wonderful news. However, the physical pain and changes a woman undergoes during pregnancy can be overwhelming for them, emphasizing the importance of the husband's support.

Unfortunately, one Malaysian man expressed frustration anonymously about the expenses related to childbirth. In his predicament, he questioned who should cover the hospital bill and prenatal massages once his wife gets pregnant.

According to his post, he claims that his wife insists he should bear all the expenses, considering it his responsibility as a father, husband, and head of the household. However, he believes the costs should be shared equally between him and his wife, emphasizing that "it takes two to make a baby."

The post on Twitter went viral, with some criticizing him for being calculative.

"Sad to see a husband being so calculative. Poor child having a stingy father. No compassion at all. Just donating your sperm is such an easy task for you, huh? Says the strong man, the main support, the head of the family. Now even want to split everything halfway," sarcastically commented one netizen.

"Should share it with your parents and in-laws because you've produced a grandchild for them. Don't forget to claim it with your siblings because you've made a nephew for them. The village head should also contribute to pay for the bill as you've added a new resident to the village," wrote another.

"Hey, you're the man, the head of the family. You pay. She's been tired of carrying it for nine months, enduring all sorts of discomfort. Can you even relate to that? And the child carries your name, not your wife's. So, pay up, darn it," expressed an angry netizen.

Now the question goes back to you: who do you think should bear the cost?
