Planning to upgrade to Apple’s foldable iPhone? You might need to keep your current phone around a little longer.
Although Apple lists the iPhone Duo as available starting 23 October, our attempt to preorder the 2TB Star White model showed a shipping date of 22 January 2027, around three months away.
RM15,499, with a wait until January
When we checked Apple’s Malaysian online store on 19 October, the iPhone Duo 2TB in Star White was listed at RM15,499.
However, the order page displayed “Ships Jan 22”, with free shipping.
This is the expected shipping date. Buyers would need to check the delivery estimate separately to find out when the phone could reach them.
Pickup at Apple TRX was unavailable too
Hoping to collect it from the store instead?
For the model we selected, the page also showed that pickup was currently unavailable at Apple The Exchange TRX.
These observations apply to the 2TB Star White model we checked. Shipping dates and pickup availability may differ for other configurations.
Prices start at RM9,499
Apple’s Malaysian listing offers four storage options: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB, with prices starting at RM9,499.
The iPhone Duo features a 7.6 inch folding display and a smaller 5.4 inch outer display.

For the model we tried, that new phone upgrade looks set to wait until next year.
