Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Young Srikandi Bersatu leader Nabila Norsahar urged Sabah Deputy Chief Minister III cum Public Works Minister Datuk Shahelmy Yahya to take immediate action to complete the road construction project from the City Mosque to Sepanggar to reduce the worsening traffic congestion in the area.
Nabila in a statement here Tuesday said that on July 3, around 5pm to 8pm there was a severe traffic jam along the road from the City Mosque, Tanjung Lipat, Jalan UMS to Sepanggar.
As a result of the traffic jam, many people had to stay in their cars for hours from the evening until the night, she said.
