KOTA KINABALU: MCA will field candidates in the 17th State Election, with its president Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong affirming the party’s continued role in Sabah’s politics.
Wee said MCA should be given the chance to contest under the Barisan Nasional (BN) ticket, reflecting its contributions and place within the coalition.
Speaking at the MCA Sabah Convention on Saturday, he stressed that MCA must be represented in the polls, but did not disclose the number of candidates.
