The Brazilian is being investigated for betting breaches, which scuppered a summer move to Manchester City.
Paqueta, who is facing the threat of a similar ban to Brentford's Ivan Toney, has been cooperating with the investigation.
Per The Mail, Brazil coach Fernando Diniz is frustrated at how long the process is taking.
He had wanted to select Paqueta for recent games, but had agreed to keep him out of the team until the English FA concluded its process.
The probe is gaining steam, however, and there could be a verdict in the coming weeks.
