Veteran manager David Moyes remains confident West Ham will find the players they need this summer.
The Hammers are struggling to replace the departed Declan Rice, who signed for Arsenal.
Bids for Conor Gallagher and Scott McTominay of Chelsea and Manchester United have been unsuccessful.
They have also failed to sign Harry Maguire and Joao Palhinha recently.
Because of the shortness of the summer and being in Australia, the amount of time we have had together has been limited, but I'm sure we'll get down to work and do what we have to do," Moyes told Sky Sports.
"The club have made several offers for players. We are out in the market. We are quite active.
Hopefully some of them will come off in the future."
