West Ham boss David Moyes has confirmed surgery for Gianluca Scamacca.
Scamacca was due to undergo surgery today. This was confirmed by Moyes on Friday.
The 24-year-old centre-forward will have a knee issue cleared up, which in all probability end his season prematurely.
Having arrived in the summer for 36 million euros, Scamacca collected 22 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 8 goals.
