West Ham boss David Moyes admits they've offered a new contract to Ben Johnson.
The defender's current deal runs to the end of the season.
Moyes said, "I don't want Ben to go, we offered him a contract about a year ago and we have not had any agreement on it.
"He come through the youth system at West Ham, but football has another side of it with contracts.
"I had a good conversation with ben last season and he knows we want him to stay."
On more transfer arrivals, he added: "We will look and see what we can get, the club have been really supportive to what we have already got.
"I said last week by the end of the window we will have added a couple of players."
