West Ham boss David Moyes says his players must take responsibility for Sunday's home thrashing by Arsenal.
The Hammers go to Nottingham Forest later today.
"I've been really disappointed with it [the defending]," Moyes said.
"We've found it a struggle to score goals in the last month. Overall, [what's] more disappointing is, while you're not scoring, don't concede and then you take something out of the game, which we did do in a couple.
"Defensively we've not been as strong as what my teams have been used to. I'll always be the one who takes responsibility but there is a bit of responsibility that goes [to the players] where you need to stand up and be counted."
He added: "I know we've had a terrible defeat but, come May, we might look back and say 'Played Arsenal three times, beat them twice, lost once'.
"The world we're in at the minute is extreme. Every time we win or lose, there are more people having comments on it."
