West Ham boss David Moyes is adamant their home thrashing by Newcastle will prove a blip.
The Hammers meet Fulham on the back of a 5-1 home defeat to Newcastle.
Moyes said: "I'll tell you one thing about this group of players - they're fantastic lads. They're committed and honest.
"They've done a brilliant job for us in the last couple of seasons and you don't suddenly become bad players. You can make mistakes but we have to get past it now.
"A manager's job is to raise expectations and I think we've done that.
"And then you have to live with those raised expectations. Perhaps we've not done that this year but we've raised those ourselves.
"Any supporter would recognise there were individual mistakes on Wednesday and that was the main cause of the defeat."
