West Ham United are close to securing former loan star Jesse Lingard on a free transfer.
The English star has not been with a club since leaving Manchester United this summer.
The 29-year-old was at West Ham during the second half of the 2020/2021 season, where he scored nine goals in 16 matches for David Moyes.
According to The Times, the two are set to be reunited, with Lingard rejecting interest from Everton and other clubs in favor of the Hammers.
Man United did not make Lingard a contract offer, as he was surplus to requirements at the Old Trafford club.
