West Ham are continuing to push to sign Arsenal midfielder Emile Rowe Smith.
The Hammers failed with an attempt last week.
But the Guardian says they remain keen and are hoping a revised offer for a straight loan to convince Arsenal to part with Smith Rowe.
Now fully fit, Smith Rowe needs regular minutes and a loan move across town would suit all parties.
West Ham boss David Moyes hopes to clinch an agreement in the early part of the coming week.
