West Ham defender Thilo Kehrer has hailed their home support this season.
The Hammers are now starting to click after a difficult season start.
Kehrer told whufc.com: "The fans certainly played a big part for us that day. They were incredible. (Last season) we were a goal up and Manchester United were pushing us, looking to create chances and get a goal back.
"We were defending for our lives, with everything we had, and looking for good chances to counter-attack too.
"At all of our home games, there is a huge, incredible support from our fans that all of us appreciate a lot, but it felt like it was on another level that day. It was very special."
