West Ham have entered talks with Fulham for Joao Palhinha.
The Irons see the Portugal midfielder as a readymade replacement for wantaway captain Declan Rice.
The Sun says Fulham have informed West Ham they're willing to sell for 50m.
And talks between West Ham and Palhinha's agents are scheduled over the next 48 hours in London.
There is hope from both clubs of a swift agreeemtn.
