The Brazilian is a huge target for Premier League and Champions League winners Manchester City.
Paqueta wants to leave for City, and West Ham may have little option but to sell if City match their exorbitant asking price.
Per The Mail, the Hammers would then turn to Lovro Majer as a possible alternative.
Majer is a Croatia international who plays for Rennes, with the midfielder also wanted by Wolfsburg.
