West Ham United are eyeing Sunderland defender Daniel Ballard.
The former Arsenal youth teamer was outstanding for the Black Cats last season, helping them reach the Championship promotion playoffs.
His form has brought him to the attention of Premier League clubs, including West Ham.
The London Evening Standard says Hammers boss David Moyes is a fan and sees Ballard as a replacement for Craig Dawson after his sale to Wolves.
Ballard's homegrown status is also attractive to West Ham.
