West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola has sung the praises of Real Madrid No1 Thibaut Courtois.
Areola had a season at Real as backup to the Belgium international.
He told AS, "The best thing was to see him win the Champions League, he's a great guy and I took advantage of sharing us a lot the locker room for a year.
"He deserves everything he has received, he is a great goalkeeper: he has reflexes but he is also good with his feet as well as working hard."
On France's hopes, Areola replied: "I'm not afraid to say it, we won in 2018 and we must also compete to win this one. I work hard to be able to be there."
