West Ham striker Michail Antonio says their gameplan paid off for victory at Brighton.
James Ward-Prowse, Jarrod Bowen and Antonio struck for the visitors before Pascal Gross pulled a goal back for Brighton.
Antonio said: "It's up there with the last week, the same tactics. Chelsea had a lot of possession last weekend and Brighton had a lot here. It was about how we were going to deal with it and counter them. The tactics worked perfectly.
"We kept in our shape perfectly. One thing they wanted to do was come out of pockets so they could find them. But we stayed narrow, stayed tight, showed them outside. They crossed a lot of balls and created a lot of chances. Alphonse [Areola] was unbelievable today. When we had opportunities, we took them.
"Brighton always have a lot of possession. They are a quality team and the way they play their football is quality. they are always pushing and challenging teams. But we did our jobs and got the three points.
"I am going to be positive that I got a goal, but it should have been two today.
"This shows we have good character, are resilient and don't concede too many goals. That is one thing David Moyes has always tried to do with us."
