West ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse was delighted with their 2-0 win against Sheffield United.
Ward-Prowse says victory was deserved on the day.
He later said: "It was a really pleasing performance in a tough game. The two early goals helped us and we were a little bit disappointed in the second half that we couldn't really build on that.
"Everybody at the club has been incredibly welcoming to me and made me feel at home straight away and allowed me to do my thing on the pitch and the fans have been terrific.
"We've had a good start and a good few performances against some of the top teams so it's only positive and lots to build on."
