West Ham United are eager to sign Jesse Lingard on a free transfer.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants Lingard to add quality and depth to his forward line.

The former Manchester United man spent half a successful season at West Ham on loan in 2020-2021.

Lingard, however, may have to lower his wage demands to make the move, per The Guardian.

West Ham may be eager to sign him, but they cannot pay a wage close to what he was earning at Man United.

Lingard is 29 and does not have any other concrete interest in his signature.
