West Ham United plan to pay tribute to late co-owner David Gold before their match against Everton at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Gold passed away at the age of 86 earlier this month following a short illness.

West Ham will honour the lifelong Hammers fan at their first home game since his passing.

A minute's applause will be held before kick-off, while his daughters Jacqueline and Vanessa, fiance Lesley, and granddaughter Scarlett will be joined by new sporting director Mark Noble in laying a floral tribute in the centre circle in his memory.

West Ham are asking fans attending the match to take their seats no later than 2.50pm in order to take part in the tribute.

Saturday's matchday programme will also be dedicated to Gold, who grew up opposite the Boleyn Ground and bought West Ham with David Sullivan in 2010.
