Even if they win the tie and then achieve success in the final, winning the club's first European trophy since 1965 would not bring any financial incentives to the players.
Per The Mail, no player has a contract for a Europa Conference League bonus.
The issue is not seen as a nefarious action from the Hammers, but a reality of the newness of the competition.
Given the Conference League did not exist before 2021, most players signed deals before it was created.
