West Ham are considering a summer move to bring in a top quality forward for their new manager.

The Hammers are ready to confirm Julen Lopetegui as the man to take them forward, as David Moyes departs.

Per The Standard, they are also set to make a bid for Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in the coming months.

Guirassay was behind only Harry Kane in the Golden Boot race in the German Bundesliga, netting 28 goals in 28 league games.

The Guinea international only signed for the club permanently in the summer, having been on loan from Koln previously.

Given he is 28 and has a release clause of around 15 million, he is seen as a risk worth taking.
