West Ham United are closing in on the signature of Jesse Lingard.
The England midfielder is a free agent after departing Manchester United at the expiry of his contract.
According to the Daily Mail, Lingard had the option of signing for the Hammers or Everton.
However, he has chosen West Ham, where he excelled on loan during the second half of the 2020/2021 season.
Lingard scored nine goals and managed five assists in 16 games for the club during that time.
He struggled for regular football at Man United last term, leading to his departure.
