West Ham United are close to sealing the signing of center-back Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The Hammers, who were unable to sign Harry Maguire from Manchester United, moved on to the former Arsenal stopper.
Per the Evening Standard and other sources, the Hammers will sign Mavropanos in a 20 million deal from Stuttgart.
Mavropanos underwent a medical over the weekend and everything is in the clear for him to sign his contract.
He was even in the stands for the club's 3-1 win over Chelsea at the weekend.
Manager David Moyes has been desperate to add more defensive quality to his side.
