Arsenal may find that manager Mikel Arteta's top target Declan Rice will be too expensive.
The West Ham United midfielder is emerging as their no.1 choice to improve their midfield and add depth to the squad.
The Evening Standard states that West Ham are ready to sell Rice in the summer, but only for around 100 million.
Manager David Moyes is adamant that any sale will be done on his and the club's terms.
He spoke about Rice's future after a 1-0 win over Manchester United at the weekend.
He's probably the best English midfield player around and that's why he's going to be extremely expensive if anyone comes calling," said the Scot to reporters.
