KOTA KINABALU: A whale calf was reportedly spotted entering the jetty area of Sutera Harbour Resort here on Thursday.
The marine animal was first noticed by resort workers, who recorded the sighting before the video went viral on social media.
A spokesperson for the Sabah Wildlife Department (SWD) said the species has yet to be determined.
The Department also received similar sighting reports at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort and believes it may involve the same individual.
The public has been reminded that while visuals of the mammal may be taken, feeding it is not allowed.
