- New prime minister Andy Burnham is set to host Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday, reaffirming the UK's steadfast support for Ukraine.
- During the visit, Burnham will announce that Britain will hand over the intellectual property for its new 'Stone Cloak' electronic warfare system to Ukraine.
- This transfer will enable Ukraine to produce the tablet-sized 'Stone Cloak' device, designed to block Russian drone detection, at scale.
- The Ministry of Defence has already supplied thousands of these jammers to Ukrainian forces, and the technology is slated for integration into the UK's next-generation long-range strike weapons.
- The leaders will also meet over 200 Ukrainian military personnel participating in Exercise Sea Breeze in the UK, aimed at enhancing warfighting capabilities.
