
- Ryan Gosling's new space adventure film, Project Hail Mary, has received largely positive early reviews from critics.
- Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the movie is based on Andy Weir's novel and features Gosling as a science teacher on a mission to save Earth.
- The film currently holds an impressive 96 per cent "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 93 critics' reviews.
- The Independent’s Clarisse Loughrey praised the pairing of Gosling and Zone of Interest actor Sandra Hüller, while Nick Schager of The Daily Beast said it was a “celebration of bravery, camaraderie, and human ingenuity.”
- Among the small group of negative reviews was Owen Gleiberman of Variety who said it was not a very good movie but was the “kind of ‘great escape we need right now”.
- Project Hail Mary is scheduled for release in cinemas nationwide on 20th March.
