A PROTON Persona has caught the attention of social media users after a photograph showing several mini figurines attached to the top of its boot raised concerns about the potential danger to other road users.
The photograph, uploaded to Threads by user @asrul_lala, shows multiple miniature figurines displayed along the rear of the vehicle, prompting questions about whether they could become dislodged while the car is moving.
In the caption, the uploader invited fellow Threads users to share their opinions, pointing out that he was also a motorcyclist and expressing concern about being struck by a hard object travelling at high speed.
He also highlighted the possibility of the figurines becoming dangerous projectiles if they fell off while the car was travelling at speeds of between 150km/h and 170km/h.

One commenter, @ikahih_, suggested that the owner could simply display the figurines inside the vehicle instead. Another user, @nabilahstergram, said the decorations might look cute when the car was stationary but questioned the decision to attach them to a moving vehicle, warning that they could damage another car’s windscreen or injure a motorcyclist if they came loose.
Meanwhile, @p.alindalia raised concerns that the figurines could break a motorcyclist’s helmet visor or damage a car’s windscreen, potentially injuring other road users. The commenter also urged the owner to reconsider the display before someone got hurt.
While the figurines may be intended as a harmless decorative touch, the discussion highlights a wider road safety concern about unsecured objects attached to vehicles. Motorists should ensure that all decorations and accessories are properly secured and cannot become hazards to others while travelling.
