Kota Kinabalu: The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry’s proposal to establish a development council for Entrepreneurs, Cooperatives, Hawkers, and Petty Traders is aligned with the aspirations of many small traders in the State.
Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) Sabah Regional Director Jahinin Siman said the council would be able to address problems often faced by the group, especially with regards to business licences, trading spaces and business opportunities.
“This new approach is timely and able to meet their needs and solve their problems especially among Sahabat AIM members who are on average small traders and hawkers.
