Fans of Lotteria will no longer need to travel abroad for a taste of its hearty burgers as the South Korean fast food chain is set to open in Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport on February 11.

First opened in Tokyo, Japan, in 1972, the brand was later established in South Korea in 1979. Since then, the fast-food chain has grown to operate over 1,600 stores. Lotteria Singapore will mark the burger franchise’s seventh overseas outpost, with other outlets in Indonesia, Vietnam, and China.

What to expect at Lotteria Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport

The Singapore outlet will be located in Jewel’s Basement 1, right along the iconic Jewel Rain Vortex. Designed as an open-format space, it accommodates 60 guests and features plush orange booths that add a pop of warmth. At the kiosk, take your pick from the brand’s signature Korean-style burgers, along with a Singapore-exclusive.

Can’t decide what to get? Go for the Ria’s Shrimp Burger (S$7.20), one of Lotteria’s signatures (and also our favourite on the menu) that’s made with a juicy shrimp patty topped with tartar and thousand island sauce, all sandwiched between fluffy buns. The Ria’s Bulgogi Burger (S$7.20) is another popular choice, featuring a beef patty seasoned with sweet and savoury bulgogi. It’s complete with mayonnaise, onions and sweet bulgogi sauce. For the mayo haters, you can also request for less mayonnaise in your burgers.

For something rich and cheesy, the Mozzarella Burger Tomato Basil (S$12.50) is a unique creation that’s layered with rich mozzarella and a tomato-basil sauce. Inside, a molten cheese patty sits beneath a juicy beef patty, making it an indulgent bite from start to finish.

While you’re here, you’ll also want to get your hands on the brand’s Singapore-exclusive Kimchi Bulgogi Burger (S$7.80). The savoury creation sees a juicy beef patty glazed in a sweet-savoury bulgogi sauce. Rich flavours are cut thanks to the addition of tangy kimchi.

Beyond burgers, the Singapore menu also features Lotteria’s popular sides, including the Long Cheese Sticks (S$2.80), Shake Shake Fries (S$5.20), and Shake Shake Nuggets (S$7.50). The latter is served alongside various seasonings, including onion, cheese and chilli. Still hungry? Dig into its selection of chicken. Two flavours are available, Original and Gangjung, with the latter glazed in a sweet and mildly spicy sauce.
