- The former Duke of York is taking legal action against the force in an attempt to quash search warrants issued by the Old Bailey that allowed police to raid his former Windsor home, Royal Lodge, and his residence on the Sandringham Estate.
- Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on 19 February on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations that he shared sensitive information with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during his tenure as the UK’s trade envoy.
- Thames Valley Police will argue at the High Court that releasing certain documents obtained during legal proceedings could have a detrimental impact on its ongoing criminal investigation.
- Following his arrest and subsequent interview under caution, police confirmed that searches of the properties concluded on 24 February, with Mr Mountbatten-Windsor remaining released under investigation.
