OPENAI has launched ChatGPT on WhatsApp, allowing users to interact with the chatbot by messaging 1-800-242-8478, expanding its accessibility.

This WhatsApp integration is currently text-based, lacking features like voice input, visual input, and group chat functionality, and operates with a daily message limit.

AdvertisementIn the US and Canada, a ChatGPT hotline using the same number offers voice access for any phone, including basic models, with a 15-minute monthly limit for calls and free chatbot usage.

While OpenAI is developing account authentication for WhatsApp, it is not yet available, meaning users will experience a limited version of ChatGPT, like using it without logging in.
