From political thrillers such as The Art of Negotiation to heart-warming new romances like When Life Gives You Tangerines, the upcoming K-dramas of March 2025 certainly look promising to its legions of fans.
Leading the line-up is the Netflix romance When Life Gives You Tangerines. One of the most anticipated K-dramas to release in March 2025, the story chronicles the adventures of “the remarkable rebel” Ae-sun (played by IU) and the “unyielding iron” Gwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum), in South Korea’s Jeju Island.
The show is penned by screenwriter Lim Sang-chun, known for hits like Fight for My Way (2017) and When the Camellia Blooms (2019). According to the streamer, the show’s Korean title pays homage to the Jeju dialect and translates to “thank you for your hard work,” lending cultural authenticity to the narrative.
Meanwhile, popular South Korean actor Park Eun-bin will draw star power to the March 2025 Disney Plus original K-drama Hyper Knife. The medical series is written by Kim Sun-hee and directed by After the Rain fame Kim Jung-hyun.
Not to forget the upcoming office romance K-drama The Potato Lab, which is set to hit your Netflix screens on 1 March 2025. Starring Kang Tae-oh and Lee Sun-bin, the tvN series will focus on the love story between a boss and an employee of a potato research centre.
