- Christopher Nolan has announced he will take at least three years before making another film, citing the demanding nature of his latest project, The Odyssey.
- The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer's Greek epic, following Odysseus's journey home, and features a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Holland.
- “I definitely hit the limits of my own stamina and everybody’s stamina, I think,” Nolan told Today’s Kaylee Hartung.
- The film is notable for being the first feature entirely shot on IMAX film cameras, a technical achievement made possible by Nolan's collaboration with IMAX to develop lighter, quieter equipment.
- The Odyssey has garnered critical acclaim, becoming Nolan's highest-ranked film on Rotten Tomatoes with a 95 per cent score, and achieved a record-breaking global opening of $264.1 million.
