- There is a chance that the aurora borealis will be visible from parts of the UK on Thursday night, the Met Office says.
- It comes after the phenomenon, also known as the northern lights, light up the skies in parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland on Halloween night.
- The bright green glow also danced across the skies on Sunday night, but was much less intense.
- According to the Met Office, there is a “slight” chance of those in the north of Scotland, and at similar magnetic latitudes, seeing the northern lights again on Thursday night due to changing solar conditions.
- Stargazers are advised to head to remote areas, as light pollution can obscure the view, and to look north for the best chance of seeing the aurora borealis.
