In Malaysia, you can obtain your driver’s license at the age of 16.

With that being said, it is completely illegal for children to be driving a car, especially on their own while on the road.

An anonymous poster took to the 诗巫吹水站 Facebook group to showcase a 12-year-old boy driving a car, all alone at night. This incident allegedly took place in Sibu, Sarawak.

They wrote, “What are you doing? You want to drive your father’s car? How old are you? Your actions of driving can harm others and on top of that, you keep honking your horn.”

In the video, a man could be heard confronting the boy for driving the car.

The man asked the boy if he had a driver’s license at 12-years-old, to which the boy responded with, “yes”.

“Where are your parents? Do you want me to report you to the police?” the man questioned.

The man then told the boy to drive away so that he can record the car’s number plate.

In another post, the man appeared to once again confront the boy, this time while he is outside the car and with a man believed to be his father.

Some have speculated that the boy and his father might not be Malaysian, due to their accents.

We genuinely hope that the boy’s father prevents him from driving again, at least until he gets his driver’s license at 16-years-old.
