The creator’s logic behind the number 144 is a simple multiplication of 12 zodiac signs of the Western horoscope and 12 Chinese zodiac animals.

To find your primal animal, look at the closest period of days covering your birth date and correspond it with your birth year. Voila! You will get your spirit animal.
So for example, if your birth year is 1990, you belong to the Year of the Horse, according to Chinese zodiac signs. Assuming your birthday falls on 6 April 1990, the primal animal allocated for 21 March to 19 April is ‘Hammerhead Shark’. A further deep-dive into this animal sign gives you all the details, the best and the worst traits and their behavioural patterns in relationships.
The website holds extensive information covering all the birth years from 1900 to 2044. Once you scroll down to your birth year, you can narrow down to the date bracket closest to your birthday. You will get assigned your animal and learn about its core characteristics, compatibility and career.

How can primal astrology help you?
Primal astrology adds one more layer to the study of divination and attempts to combine the best of both worlds: Western and Eastern (Chinese) astrology. To elucidate further, if one is born in the Year of the Tiger and their zodiac sign is Leo, their primal animal is Wolverine.
