Who is Count Binface? Five things you need to know about Nigel Farage’s rival

1. Count Binface, a satirical political character created by comedian Jonathan David Harvey, previously ran in both the 2021 and 2024 London Mayoral elections.
2. Mr Harvey also stood against Boris Johnson in the 2019 general election and ran for the Makerfield by-election which was won by Andy Burnham.
3. His previous manifesto for the Makerfield by-election included pledges such as “corners to be refereed properly in football” and “cyclists who break the highway code to be forced to ride unicycles instead”.
4. Meanwhile, during the London Mayoral election of 2024, Count Binface promised to make Claudia Winkleman's fringe Grade 1 listed.
5. The self-described “space politician” has also previously claimed to be 5,072 years old.
