- White House aide Natalie Harp is known for her close relationship with President Donald Trump and she was one of the few staff members who climbed into a catering truck with him to escape Turkey on a secret military flight.
- Harp was thrust into the spotlight in 2019 when she praised Trump at a conference in D.C., crediting his 2018 Right to Try Act with saving her life during a battle with stage II bone cancer. Trump then invited her to speak at the 2020 Republican National Convention.
- The 35-year-old officially joined Trump’s staff in 2022 after a hosting stint at One America News Network. Nicknamed the human printer, Harp is said to carry a laptop and portable printer around to present Trump with physical drafts of articles and social media content. She reportedly serves as the primary staffer helping him manage posts on Truth Social.
- Democratic rising star Senator Jon Ossoff took shots at Trump over the Turkey flight in a rally speech Sunday, stating that the commander-in-chief would rather “travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace,” than do his job.
- While Harps’ estranged brother Preston has publicly criticized her dedication to Trump as an unhealthy obsession, White House officials defend her as a beloved and deeply trusted official who keeps the president in high spirits.
