  • The restoration aims to refresh and upgrade the hotel's iconic decor while preserving its distinctive character, following over 25 years of continuous operation.
  • Refurbishment plans include redesigning all 198 suites and upgrading the spa, with French interior architect Tristan Auer leading the design.
  • In February, the hotel sustained minor damage and a small fire after being hit by debris from an intercepted drone.
  • The UK Foreign Office currently advises against all but essential travel to the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai.
