Months after social media was flooded with speculation about their relationship, Punjabi actor Isha Rikhi has finally confirmed that she is married to rapper and singer Badshah.
The revelation came during an interactive “Ask Me Anything" session on Instagram, where fans repeatedly questioned her about rumours surrounding their relationship and alleged wedding.
Sharing a screenshot of the numerous queries she had received, Isha wrote, “I think I’m officially flooded with these questions. ‘Are you married?’ ‘Are you married to Badshah?’ ‘Why don’t you follow each other?’ ‘Why don’t you post pictures together?’”
Putting an end to the speculation, she responded with a simple yet definitive statement: “Yes, I am married.”
The actress also addressed one of the most frequently asked questions from fans — why she and Badshah do not follow each other on Instagram.
In a playful response, Isha said, “Honestly, I think my husband owes all of you an explanation. Pati Dev (Badshah), the audience has questions. Please address them at your earliest convenience.”
To further delight fans, she shared a photograph of herself with the rapper, quashing doubts about their relationship and responding to questions about why they rarely post pictures together.
Rumours about the couple’s marriage first surfaced in March after Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, shared photographs and videos from what appeared to be a private wedding ceremony. The visuals, which showed the couple participating in traditional rituals, quickly went viral on social media.
However, neither Isha nor Badshah commented on the reports at the time, fuelling months of speculation.
The buzz intensified recently when Badshah posted a series of romantic photographs with an unidentified woman on social media, captioning them: “The universe has a strange way of putting people in your life.”
With Isha’s latest confirmation, fans finally have an answer to one of Punjabi entertainment’s most talked-about rumours.
