Why King Charles will not attend the funeral of Norway’s King Harald

  • The Prince of Wales will represent his father, King Charles, at the funeral of King Harald V of Norway at Oslo Cathedral on 9 September.
  • The Princess Royal will also attend the service in a private capacity as godmother to Norway's new monarch, King Haakon VIII.
