Mauricio Pochettino faces a month's delay before he can formally begin his new job with Chelsea.
Pochettino was named new manager of Chelsea on Monday, but won't be able to hit the training pitch until July 1.
The London Evening Standard says under terms of his payoff from former club PSG, he cannot formally begin a new job until July.
Pochettino is due in London on Wednesday and will hold meetings with staff, including Chelsea sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Lawrence Stewart.
He will split his time between London and Barcelona in the next month, while he is also due in Manchester on June 11 for SoccerAid. Pochettino has been living in Barcelona since his sacking by PSG a year ago.
