- Wiltshire Council introduced the scheme to improve safety, reduce congestion, and encourage families to walk, cycle, or scoot to school.
- The trial will run under Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders, allowing the public 18 months to share feedback before a decision is made on making it permanent.
