The wife of Atalanta midfielder Marten de Roon has hit out at La Gazzetta dello Sport.

With victory over Monza, La Dea went top of the Serie A table.

But as De Roon's wife pointed out, the achievement barely warranted a mention in La Gazzetta dello Sport today.

Mrs De Roon posted to social media: "The leaders on page 24. Aren't you even a little ashamed?"

After five rounds, Atalanta sit top of Serie A on 13 points.
