- Support for or membership of Palestine Action carries a sentence of up to 14 years in prison following its proscription under anti-terrorism legislation.
- The Campaign Against Antisemitism has called on police to investigate Ms Helm and urged Jonathan Powell to publicly denounce her comments.
- A government spokesperson clarified that Ms Helm's views are her own and that she does not represent the government in any capacity.
