Four of them Md Shahrul Nizam, Albain Amin, Sahlan Hassan and Aroni Walin pleaded guilty to taking syabu and amphetamine at separate locations here, in Manggatal and Penampang between February and March this year.

Meanwhile, the other two men Alvin Yap and Amirudin Anuar admitted to having syabu in September 2020 at Penampang and on Jan 21, this year here, respectively.
Yap was fined RM4,200 or eight months’ jail while Amirudin was handed seven months’ jail.
They were each charged under Section 12 (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, which provides for a fine of up to RM100,000 or up to five years jail, or both, on conviction.
