Chris Wilder is being linked with a return to Sheffield United.
After Saturday's loss against Tottenham, the Daily Mail is reporting manager Paul Heckingbottom's job is in danger.
And Wilder, who coached the club during their last stay in the Premier League, is now being linked with the post.
Wilder is available, having spent time with Middlesbrough and Watford last season.
He is currently without a club after leaving Watford in May this year.
